I don't know what you mean by "indications". The /home/pi directory in the github repo is merely a placeholder directory. As part of moOde's configuration process during the first boot of a fresh install, the home directory gets renamed (or not) as appropriate. No need to test with anything but the credentials you set in the RPi Imager program.
