[SOLVED] Update library hangs unpredictably while scanning SMB share on a Fritzbox router

Not sure if it has been shared before, but there's a potential option with no extra hardware depending on if you do anything but share music from that USB in the Fritz box. If it only shared music around, you could plug the USB directly to a moOde player Pi and use the NFS/SMB sharing within moOde to make it visible to other devices.
