I'm glad to hear Venerdi's issue has been resolved. Good to hear.
OK, but....
I'm still trying to figure out what could be going wrong here.
My setup is quite simple.
- RPi 4, connected by Ethernet to my router.
- A 4-port USB hub, powered with a separate 5V DC SMPS, so that I can attach a SATA hard drive in USB enclosure with enough current delivery to get it to work.
- Topping E30 II DAC, connected by USB to the 4-port USB hub.
I thought I had followed instructions correctly.
- Wrote image to uSD card using RPi Imager.
- Made sure to put in my own username and password.
- Moode looks like it installed and runs properly.
The problem comes when I run Library > MPD > Regenerate Music Database.
- Is that the right place to do that? (I thought so, but it's worth asking...)
- I waited until the spinner disappeared and then went to the Library view.
- Normally I'd see a dropdown to the upper left and I'd switch to Tag view. But that is not present, but is replaced by a Search field.
- I don't know if it's significant, but there are only 26 radio stations showing. Were a lot of them taken away in this release?
Or is all this because I didn't run Backup before running the update? I guess I should have run Backup and then Restore once I had the new Moode version up and running. My bad.
Or is this indicative of the uSD not getting all files from the image? Hmmm.... I think I'll re-download the image and reinstall on a different uSD card, just to make sure. It could be that this uSD card is dying. That's happened to me before...
