I don't see anything suspicious in the log.

Try the commands below and see if there is anything correlated to the issue.

After I last posted on this thread I changed from Moode to PiCore and since a couple of weeks to Volumio.
With PiCore and Volumio I've not experienced a single audio dropout when playing flac music from a usb attached ssd through a usb dac.

But since I changed my usb dac to a smsl su1 the other day, I thought it might be worth trying Moode again with a fresh install of version 9.3.7
Unfortunately the exact same problem occurs with random (short) audio dropouts. I'm baffled...

Fortunately Volumio sounds absolutely fine to me but I'd still like to go back to Moode if it wasn't for the dropouts.

Is it possible that the 1 GB of ram is not enough for your Moode setup?

Just as a test: what happens if you switch off the local display and run moOde via the browser on tablet, pc or phone?
