Sorry Tim. Yeah after entry don’t disclose the textfield. But at the lower level all is good. Security is always a hard one from the system side and user side. It’s all good and we should all approach it properly in the world we live in. Just trying to explain the basics of how it works and why it’s a good thing, along with choices that lead to these things. I certainly don’t want people to be upset or use the wrong things for the wrong reasons. It’s a great distro and only wanna make it the best it can be. Peace out people

Yup, good discussion and I'm enlightened. If the password isn't displayed "on screen" at any point, then it's all good innit?

Yes, that should do it. The only way to view the password would be to log into the pi via SSH or obtain the boot media.

Hi Tim,

Just quick post full follow up to come (tight on time) I don’t think this should be used. After the update and reboot of the router my config was broken and had to flash my SD Card and re do the network settings best people don’t use this.

Prolly just a bug or two.
