In-place updates set a flag that causes MPD Config to be re-run. That could explain one of the occurrences. If it happens again post the steps to repro and if possible I'll try to replicate.

Hi, I'm having an issue that is not only related to this version, but it's also not working with 7.4.
I had 7.3 and Spotify Connect worked until couple of days ago. I can't remember changing anything in the config for a longer time. So I tried with 7.4.1 but no luck, still the same issue, phone and PC show only "Connecting..." when I want to connect to moode. Switching Spotify between phone and PC works just fine. I downgraded to 7.4.0, that also did not solve the issue. Internet Radio works fine on both .0 and .1. I've also tried clearing the cache in Spotify, logging out of all devices and installing same moode version/image onto the SD card multiple times. Here is the output of moodeutl. Thanks in advance for the help. Code: pi@moode:~ $ moodeutl -l

To troubleshoot try the following:
1. Turn Spotify renderer OFF in Audio Config 2. Run the command below from SSH Code: sudo librespot --name "moode" --bitrate 320 --format S32 --initial-volume 0 --volume-ctrl linear --autoplay --cache /var/local/www/spotify_cache --disable-audio-cache --backend alsa --device "_audioout" --onevent /var/local/www/commandw/spotevent.sh 3. See if any connection attempts/failures show up in the console output. Also verify your account is Premium level.

Hi Tim,
thanks for the reply. I checked the output and it seems that moode has an issue with connecting to the Spotify APs. I have a Premium subscription. Code: [2021-11-02T12:35:02Z INFO librespot] librespot 0.2.0 UNKNOWN (Built on 2021-05-08, Build ID: QjBBATle) I tried with a custom rule on my router to open any * <-> any 4070 TCP but that did not solve it. Since all other devices behind the same router can access Spotify, I guess that the firewall should not be causing this issue. I can telnet to one of the Spotify APs 4070 from my PC. Any other hints ? Any way to do pcap in moode ? My router unfortunately does not provide that option. Thanks again for the support!

The log entry below suggests some sort of network or authentication issue. Maybe try clearing the Spotify credential cache in Audio Config or rebooting your Router and checking its logs.
Code: [2021-11-02T12:40:25Z WARN librespot] Connection failed: Cannot create session: Connection timed out (os error 110)

Unbelievable, it was my ISP, they decided to install an antivirus on my router. Would've never guessed it if I didn't try with a mobile hotspot.
Made them remove it and Spotify Connect works now on moode. Thanks anyway for the support!

Hi all,
I've recently upgraded from 7.21 to 7.41. I noticed that Qobuz is no longer configurable so I scanned through the release notes and saw it was removed in 7.2 - not sure why it was still working for me in 7.21. I can confirm this is still working fine in v7.41 providing the upmpdcli-qobuz package is installed and the upmpdcli.conf file is suitably updated with the Qobuz credentials. From Linn Kazoo, I can browse and play Qobuz titles both from the upmpdcli media server, and, through the native Qobuz interface in Kazoo. You may wish to re-consider re-enabling Qobuz support in the next release of Moode. Best wishes.

Do you have a link to the upmpdcli-qobuz package?

The Qobuz situation appears to be unchanged from past years. The docs say
Quote:Using Qobuz through the Upmpdcli Media Server Qobuz has had a habit from time to time of disrupting access from the Kodi add-on. (in the past they have cited piracy problems.) As for a link, have a look at https://www.lesbonscomptes.com/upmpdcli/...loads.html Regards, Kent

Ah, beat me - thanks Kent! Actually, the release notes are as follows for Qobuz:
2020-11-24 upmpdcli 1.5.2 <snip> The Qobuz plugin works again (for now), by identifying itself as the WEB client (thanks to qobuz-dl on github). More precisely, Qobuz access through the upmpdcli Media Server works again. Qobuz access by login from Kazoo or Lumin (Open Home Credentials service) does not work. 2021-04-22 upmpdcli 1.5.12 <snip> Deezer and Qobuz: add pictures for artists and playlists. |
