[IDEA] Fully support Openhome

Hi all,

Supporting Openhome (http://www.openhome.org) would allow Moode to be a Songcast sender or receiver, allow TuneIn favourite radio stations to be listed and use of Qobuz based on purchases - typically configured through Linn Kazoo.  Essentially, seamlessly operate within a Linn environment with a UPnP control point.

For now, Moode still works very well, thank you.

Hello Tim, thanks for fast response! Mainly Songcast as referenced on the link above, specifically here:

Linn Songcast Receiver and Sender

When I'm in Kazoo (the Linn controller point application), if I try and send the audio from Moode to my Linn DS or vice versa, Kazoo reports:

Grouping is not available. To allow grouping, use Konfig to enable the Songcast sender for this room.

When I use Konfig (the Linn DS configuration application), it reports there is no configuration page here you for Moode.  for Linn DS devices, you can enable Songcast, specify if you want the output mode to be unicast or multicast and the multicast channel.  Perhaps this has to be enabled somewhere manually inside Moode?

After reading the guide, Songcast sounds very complex and buggy. I'm not really interested in integrating and supporting it.

Yes, from that description it does somewhat. The actual Songcast designed and implemented by Linn works very well - the version on openhome.org seems to work fine. I had a look and there are indeed references to Songcast in one of the dist example files but the docs seem to point to requiring s2mpc.
