Maybe try swapping the ports that the two devices are plugged into?

I got this same error, after a successful install and Moode being up a few days....went to go use it and had to reboot to fix it.

Not to me. I think the RPi3 models are perfectly fine for audio reproduction. What the RPi4B brings to the table is a superior I/O interface for ethernet/WiFi/storage.

I've tried all (4 pcs) the USB ports, with/without any other device, the error message stlil the same, after several reboot too. Sad
