Official moOde 6.7.1 support thread

Post all bug reports for moOde 6.7.1 or moOde 6.7.0 -> 6.7.1 in-place update in this thread. Please paste log output, scripts, etc in code boxes for readability.

What are the advantages or otherwise of the updated Raspi version? Am I missing any goodies by using the in-place update?

There were a few improvements mentioned in the release notes that caught my eye. The first one caused quite a few changes in moOde but it is not exclusive to the OS bump. The "separate ALSA devices" change also came in the kernel bump to 5.4.y.

- Internal audio outputs enabled as separate ALSA devices
- Add pwm to gpio group
- i2cprobe: More flexible I2C/SPI alias mapping

The release notes for RaspiOS don't mention everything that was fixed or improved though. To get a sense of the entire OS it's necessary to track the other repositories for example firmware and userland.

I've never had the time to understand the full process used by the Pi Foundation to build versions of the OS and how they determine which releases/commits from the repos to use but my strategy for moOde has always been to use the latest version of the OS for reliability and stability.

The log entry below showing an empty card 0 indicates either the I2S driver for the device failed to load or there is a hardware issue preventing Linux from seeing the device.

(Thursday afternoon) All units started with 6.7.0

1. the Allo unit updated OK.
2. the RPi3B units updated OK

3. the RPi ZeroW unit did not show the Install button in System Config, and did not update. any reason for this that you know of? Otherwise tomorrow I'll do a clean install.

Edit (Friday afternoon):    OK, so tried a restart - no change, then shut down & cold boot (including disconnecting the power lead). Still no sign of the Install button, and this time, the Radio, Album & Tag pages were all blank. So something had got screwed, LOL. 

Anyway, I did a clean install of 6.7.1, and that seems to have been OK (currently generating the music database).

Hi,
I'm running 6.7.1 on an Allo USBridge SIG and even though Local UI Display is turned on, my attached monitor is only receiving a black screen. With 6.7.0 the screen worked fine.
