Official moOde 6.7.1 support thread

I don't see how it could a Kernel issue because we both have the exact same model Pi-3B+ 1GB v1.3 therefore booting up stock moOde 6.7.1 on this board should yield the exact same results with regard to HDMI.

For some reason the Tag view now shows only what is in the SD card. However, the folder view shows everything.
So you can see something playing (at the bottom) that of course is not in the library view :-(
Also the Album view shows only these two albums (one is some noise, the other one is the usual Stereo Test), and updating, rebuilding the librar, clearing the tag cache all do nothing to solve the issue

I do not want to give up, mood is to good .... i need it 

Here is a write up what i have done ... perhaps there are som mistakes .....

Equipment raspberry pi
- with wired network connection
- no usb devices
- 7" raspi touch monitor connected over the ribbon cable
- power connected over micro usb
- HDMI connected to (Denon X4100W or Samsung TV -> The devices shows up that there is an HDMI Device)

moode 6.7.1 iso -> win32disimager to sd card

and there i am ..... USB device is away .....but no hdmi and no sound ..... on TV or Denon X4100W

Follow up on my Tag view not displaying properly. This happens also with other browsers (not only Safari but also Firefox). I tried everything, including starting with a fresh install and regenerating the library. With mpd 0.21, and 0.22. 32- and 64-but kernels. Nothing. Now I end up with just one album in Tag view because I do not have the noise files.

However, "moodeutl -s" contains two errors

I think the presence of the RPi 7in display may be disabling the HDMI port. There are config.txt options which will cause the LCD display to be ignored but I don't know how to configure a system which allows both.

I have a similar issue to @moodenigo . Status in Music Database shows 2617 albums processed, but Music Collection in Tag view shows only 20 albums (the first 20 in my collection) Hence the 'Random Album' function selects from these 20 only.
All albums are present in Folder view, and will play when selected from there.
USBridge Sig/Katana, albums stored over NAS.

Very odd. Where are you seeing the "2617 albums" figure?

Tag and Album views are based on the Library tag cache. Try clearing it on Library Config. It will be regenerated when you return to Playback or Library views.

That was the problem and after I completely removed the screen hdmi was detected and could be selected in the audio settings. And the usual great sound was back. Thanks a lot.

Since I'm not a Unix specialist, I will google a little bit more, but probably won't be able to configure the config.txt correctly. Thanks if someone has already done so.

I also want to apologize for not removing all unnecessary components to find the error. I always thought the Raspi monitor was connected directly to the "CPU" and not via some kind of "hdmi" .... and never had any problems until now ...... did not expect it to cause problems ....

I suppose that I will replace the HDMI out, in the long run with an optical out ....(hifiberrry digi+ pro or similar) ... that would solve the conflict as well.

Did OP mention originally there was a Pi Touch attached?

AFAIK it's not possible to have both HDMI and Pi-Touch active at same time.

For some reason the Tag view now shows only what is in the SD card. However, the folder view shows everything.
So you can see something playing (at the bottom) that of course is not in the library view :-(
Also the Album view shows only these two albums (one is some noise, the other one is the usual Stereo Test), and updating, rebuilding the librar, clearing the tag cache all do nothing to solve the issue
