If there's more demand for this I'll add it to the TODO list.

Funny and look forward to the next release when it arrives.
Off topic, I have several other SBC's (not raspberry pi's) that i would like to use for moode players but even with the sources etc that exercise is way beyond my limited linux-fu. Thought of using a virtual raspberry environment, i.e. docker-raspbian. Not quite sure how to install a moode image on a docker image. Before I spend hours looking at this, any thoughts on whether its feasible? Regards.

Get docker-raspbian working on the SBC and OS of your choice. Use the moOde build recipe to create moOde 6.7.1 in it. Try to get the result to work. Be prepared to do it again when r7.0.0 is released. If that sounds familiar, that's because it's essentially the same process as before. Linux-fu is needed either way. (cf TANSTAAFL - There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch) Actually, I'd propose as a first step that you simply build moOde on an RPi using the recipe. Once you've mastered that you'll have acquired some Linux-fu and will have a better chance of succeeding with a build in dockerized Raspbian or in some other Debian-based OS on a different ARM SBC. Good luck. Regards, Kent

@cofot28 please create a new thread to discuss your USB boot issue. We are getting way off topic in this thread.

This is looking so exciting and awesome, I'm prepared to break my perfectly good Raspberry Pi 2+ installation to test it!
If you think it appropriate, send me a PM. In the past I've built Moode from a build recipe onto a base Rasbian image, I know my way around Linux/Unix, to the extent I can write sed scripts I can't understand 10 minutes later

Hi,
The crew has developed a powerful search capability for the Library that will allow you to find content matching any tag or combination of tags in your collection. There are also predefined filters that make it easy to view and interact with your collection without having to type in complex searches. Here's the Quick help :-) |
