Screen blank setting

Hi,
 I'm using a3.5" hdmi screen, I like the way the screen saver show the playing album's cover.
For the first time I tried Screen blank, I wanted the screen to go dark if nothing was playing, the problem the screen does not go black.
The screen, if nothing is playing, goes blue, displaying "No Signal".
Is there a way to show a black color instead?
Maybe using xscreensaver? but is it going to mess with Moode OS?

Thanks everyone for you help 
I found out after 3 days of research, that hdmi_blanking was at fault.
In my config.txt, hdmi_blanking was equal to 1, in fact it should have been hdmi_blanking=0.
Now when not playing the screen goes black, the back light is still on but, whatever, it will be for another research.
