Mpd works fine with sox resample and parametric eq, but spotify dont. My dac shows 44.1hz when using Spotify, so not ressample. Im not shure if eq has been appied or not. From audio info (config screen). Shows ON, but the resample not been applied made me think the opposite

Dsp operation: Resample rate and select rate are black (no information)

The SoX feature is an MPD plugin and thus only for MPD.

Both went smoothly
So far all function well

I am noticing a tendency on reboots for the output to revert to the Pi headphone jack, instead of staying persistent with the previously selected USB as output device in MPD settings.

Moode 7.4.1

Is anyone else seeing that?

Thats odd.

When MPD is configured for a USB Audio device the configuration should persist. Is there any pattern to when it reverts to Headphone Jack for example does it happen after an in-place update?

The most recent time was in fact after the reboot following an in-place update, but that wasn't the only time.

I believe in the past there had been times where I was moving things around and booted the Pi without the DAC connected, and the Pi would switch to the headphone jack after not seeing any USB output device. However in those instances, all I had to do was reconnect the DAC and it would automatically revert to my USB setting.

Now it seems that on a few occasions, after a reboot with the DAC connected, for some reason the Pi headphone jack is the selected output device and I have to go into the MPD settings to change it.

I have my bedroom TV connected to that DAC's Toslink input, which wasn't always the case, however certainly I have also had that input in use at times in the past without having this same issue.

I just now did a reboot while the DAC's Toslink input was in use and there was no issue, upon the UI becoming available again, I checked the MPD settings and the USB device was still selected for output, even though I'm listening to TV sound through the Toslink input of the DAC. So it appears the DAC will still shake hands with the Pi even when it's USB input isn't actually in use.

I also just did a full shut down from the Moode menu, and after repowering, the USB setting had again survived so I can't recreate this phenomenon now.
