Hello from northern England from an area known as the Lake District, I'm an audio refugee from Runeaudio that's been contempting a jump for a long time.
For my setup my primary criteria was easy access to the MPD and any actions against is reflected in the GUI, my main interest regards audio is radio listening and I'm impressed with how moode presents/interfaces radio streams. Love the utilities for importing radio stations and testing if they are active.
My setup has moode interface with lots of gpio buttons (15), couple of rotary switches, coupled with an epaper display. I tried out moode a few weeks back and this past week ported over my code from my Runeaudio setup which was pretty much pain free, I'm a tinkerer at heart, lots of ideas, slowly chipping away on the breadboard.
