My friend customizes a convertor to me. 12V change to 5V 4A。 Pretty good in preformance, no background noise when playing music.

I've been running one for about a year as well. Phenomenal sound quality going direct into my DSP!

Ha! You're a braver man than I. Great work! I can see many advantages of this kind of set up.
I listen to Moode in the car via bluetooth, but I remotely connect to the web stream at home. I have the choice of directly streaming FLAC, or to use the processed AAC stream. I use a VPN to connect to the streams at home and to also control Moode. The biggest disadvantage is that it relies heavily upon a good quality mobile signal to make this work! It's usually ok unless I'm in a busy or low signal cell. The advantage is that I only need a phone and bluetooth adapter in the car, nothing else. It's all swings and roundabouts as they say! |
