I have been using MOODE for a very long time on RPi4. I had to install MOODE onto a blank SD card. The system boots up and I can click a few things, but I can't get into settings or even call RESTART or SHOUTDOWN. My IP address is correct, I can open the WEB module, but my ability to click anything is very limited. The RPi is connected with an RJ45 cable. After a short time it seemed to freeze completely. I tried another SD card - same thing. Other systems with similar functions work without any problems. What can I do?

The Setup Guide has info on how to prep the image before writing it to the boot media.
Links to the Setup Guide, Raspberry Pi imager, etc are on the Download page at moodeaudio.org

So did you read the setup instructions *first*? Due to an underlying change in Raspberry Pi OS one now has to preconfigure the flashed image before first boot. This is most easily accomplished by using the Raspberry Pi Imager program to flash the uSD card.

I used BALENA and RPi Imager for the SD card

1. You must use the RPi Imager.
2. You must specify a user + password in the imager, before flashing the image to an SD card
3. You can also configure a wireless network before flashing

Failing to fulfill 2. will result in an unusable image. To fulfill 2. you need to be compliant to 1.
3. is optional, but I would recommend it, as it is easier in the imager than it is on the Pi through its AP.

One of the ways were the ones you wrote about. Thank you for your tips. It turned out that the problem was probably in the CHROME browser which had some old files and configurations saved and could not connect to MOODE via the WEB module. I deleted the temporary files but it still only displays the MOODE logo on a white background. I turned on EDGE and the controls work.
