Hi, Mike here, retired software engineer. After a long time without any high quality audio gear I invested in an IQaudIO DAC Pro to fit to my Raspberry Pi. At the moment I'm controlling moOde using the web interface.

I don't have a screen for my Pi and I'm planning to research what touch screens will work with moOde, Pi and IQaudIO DAC Pro. Suggestions for a suitable touch screen around 4" welcome.

Hi Mike,
welcome on board; I have a very good experience with the original DSI touch screen - 7", and not so good with smaller screen. At least those with the HDMI could be better fitted with the rpi.
Best regards,
Francesco

You might want to try the official Raspberry Pi 7" Touch Screen. There is built in support for it in moOde. Other screens usually require vendor-specific hand modifications to certain config files to work properly and moOde's WebUI may not render correctly on them depending on size.

For sure I'd want to use a display with capacitive touchscreen. In my experience, small displays with resistive touchscreens are not very satisfactory input devices.

Waveshare makes many LCD touchscreen displays. The small ones seem to be mostly resistive touchscreens but it appears they have larger capacitive touchscreens too.

The 7'' is perfect for moOde, IMO.

BTW, how much was it? Did you get a dedicated case too?
