no display (nothing) of albums in the 'album' view. Albums are displayed if 'recently added' (3 months max) is chosen.
I just updated with the latest version 8.3.9.
the 'tag view works fine'.
library update works. etc..
I rebuilt the database, purged browser traces etc.
nothing is being done at my level to resolve the problem. Merci pour votre aide !
Regenerate the Library and then look in the moode log for errors or odd statistics from the re-gen process.
The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from the any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output.

yes the small do display in tag wiew
and the regular 200px thumbs do display in album view with :
the filter "recently added" is on
the filter "last added" is on with 1 or 3 month - 6 month doesn't work (empty view)
a switch from the tag view withe a artist is selected. title in album view (by exemple "browse antonio carlos jobim" )
a simple search from album view work also (title in album view "filtered by Dylan")
a click on the title windows (filtered or browse...) do nothing on the screen except the RAZ of the title with "browse by artist/title"
and done the result on the hard screen copy attached (the first thumb of the album list show/play the tracklist of the first album of the collection by artist/title screen copy
It's not obvious to me why the regular 200px thumbs don't display in Album view but the small 80px thumbs apparently do display in Tag view.

there was a "&" in tag "TOTAL DISC" for one album. enough to crash :-) : correct the tag and regenerate the music database fix the problem (update the libray doesn't work)
an old "coquille" in the album did not bother with the previous version 8.3
and a another one : the "ã" in João Gilberto by exemple (folder and file name) make the same crash - same fix. idem was not a problem before the update.

Interesting. Maybe someone can try and repro and identify where in the PHP code (/inc/music-library.php) the blowup occurs. Could be some sort of exception when making the libcache_ json file.
