Missing Headphone/3.5mm Output option on RPi 2
#1
I'm using an old Raspberry Pi 2 w/ Moode 8.3.9 (32-bit Bullseye). I'm not seeing a Headphone / 3.5mm output option. I only have a "I2S audio device" option. I see this issue has been discussed before but I can't use the previous solution of switching to "Firmware mode (Legacy)" since that config option doesn't exist on the System Config tab. Any other workarounds?

Hi ravishi,
Welcome on board.
That is strange: In the late afternoon (now it is 9:15 AM, here) I will try to replicate your configuration and I will come back with results.
Best regards,
Francesco

Hi ravishi,
I anticipate the tests. I have no problems, as you can see on the attachments.
May I suggest to try to change a parameter on config system (for example the CPU governor in the Startup options) and reboot the system.
An other possibility is the browser cache (try to clean it).
About the "Firmware mode (Legacy)" option, if I remember well, has been introduced with the "BOOKWORM" release (9.0.X).
I hope this helps you: let us know.
Best regards,
Francesco

This worked! I updated the "CPU governor" to "Performance" and the "Worker response" to "Boosted". I can now see and use the Headphone output. Thanks!
