[SOLVED] moOde 9.0.5 and 9.0.7: Adding radio station to playlist does not work

Ok. Got a little bit further...
1) After I did the fresh 9.0.5 install (that worked), I took a recovery backup of this situation (just in case of).
2) I then restored my last backup of my system. This gave the same issue as before.
3) I restored the recovery backup. This gave me the initial setup, and this worked again.
4) I restored playlists and radio stations only, from my last backup. This worked. So, the issue is not the playlists, nor the radio stations
5) So, the issue has to do with Configuration & Preferences

I'm not able to repro after importing your config and prefs settings. The Playlist functions (Add to playlist, Remove item etc) worked fine and all the correct notification messages appeared.

It's not clear to me what might be happening on your end.

Did you try multiple times, as sometimes it works, sometimes not. Are you using wireless, as it works wired here.

I've spent my day on it, and the conclusion is that it works perfectly when I start from a fresh image. As from the moment I start restoring artifacts like playlists and radio stations, behavior is unpredictable.

The test I haven't done yet, is just restoring my radio stations and my config and prefs, instead of also restoring the playlists.

Today, I had to retry 7 times before I got the message "Items have been added", which is the proof that it actually happened.
I'm not a PHP guy, but what happens between "Updating Playlist" and the message "Items have been added"? As I don't get the 2nd message in case of failure, it looks like something is breaking the code in between those 2 steps. Also, why does it work when I retry 7 (can be another number as well) times?

I questioned myself why I haven't noticed this earlier? Well, quite simple... When I added radio stations, I added them to the Q containing my playlist of radio stations, and saved the Q to the playlist. This works. And this confirms me it's a software issue.

From that description, I'd start looking at browser cache issues. Are you in effect re-posting old states, or seeing old pages after the action has executed?

Tried it on 3 different browsers (Safari, Google, FF) on 5 different devices, also using "private mode". No difference.

Ok. I got a little bit smarter...
1) Fresh install
2) Restored my config & prefs

This works!

Next: restore my radio stations

And I got even smarter....

I did:
1) Fresh install
2) Restored my config & prefs
3) Restored my radio stations and the moOde stations

@tim: The setting of the radio station monitor does not get restored properly. I had it turned on, but after the restore it's turned off.

This works!

So, rest the restore of my playlists. This seems to screw the systems as nothing remains.
Let's check...

So, I switched on the "Stream Monitor" in the Radio page. I got a message my settings are updated, and since then the issue is back!
Switching it off and reboot doesn't help.

I can start over from scratch...
