Solved: New Radio Station Setup Requirements
#1
What are the streaming requirements for adding radio stations?  I have used URL's from multiple sources that play in standard browsers but fail to decode in moOde when added as a new radio station link.

Thanks,

Radio station in moode rtations require whats called the "playable URL". This is a URL that point directly to the streaming server.
The other type of URL is called a playlist URL. It points to a list of playable URL's. This type of URL can also be used but it won't be possible to associate cover art or metadata with it.

Post some of the URL's that are not working.
Enjoy the Music!

This link has  radio station listings. If you can find the stations you wish to add then at the bottom of their respective pages you will find the URL streaming address.

Thanks for the responses.  I was able to add new radio stations from the links at fmstream.org.

Here is one of the links that fails to decode:

     https://worldradiomap.com/us-az/play/kyo...e_vignette

Also, is there a way to stream spotify, pandora, and/or siriusxm?

Thanks for all the support.

Not sure about Pandora and/or Siriusxm, but Spotify is possible.

Just go to settings and Renderers and activate Spotify Connect (premium Spotify subscription required).
When you then are on the same network you should see your moOde when checking for devices to play music on.

Thanks.  I understand the Spotify premium requirement.  I'm hoping for a $0 addition for the other streaming services.

I cannot test as Pandora is not available in the Netherlands.
But depending on which Raspberry Pi you're using, you can enable Bluetooth on moOde and use it as a Bluetooth speaker for Pandora/Siriusxm.

I like it.  I'll try the Bluetooth speaker option.  I have Pi 2, 3, and 5 available.  The 3 currently is loaded with moOde so Bluetooth is built in.

Thanks!

I must have missed something.  I have Bluetooth enabled on moOde but I don't see the RPi/moOde as a Bluetooth device that I could connect to from my iPhone that is running SiriusXM app.  How do I set moOde as a "Bluetooth Speaker"?
