Spotify Connect: Song gets stuck

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some guidance on what to start troubleshooting.

Problem: Spotify Connect will connect and play for a while.  After a while the song that is playing, will just loop and loop and loop.

Trying to hit 'next' on Spotify will not function, and the same song will just play on repeat. 

Going to the Moode UI and choosing 'Disconnect' and then reconnecting spotify will fix it temporarily until it happens again.

I thought maybe it was my pi3b being problematic so I purchased a pi4 and the issue persists there as well.

I am having the same issue. By coincidence I posted a bug today in the librespot page with logs of moode 9.1.4 : https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot/issues/1389
Apparently there is a new version (0.6.0) available that fixes some authentication problems. 
Would be great to test this on moode soon

Give this a try to install librespot 0.6.0

Code:

sudo apt update
sudo apt-mark unhold librespot
sudo apt -y install librespot=0.6.0-1moode1
sudo reboot

Thanks! Installation was successful, Spotify is running for an hour now. I will keep you posted after some more testing

I use Spotify only sporadically and hadn't noticed the issue but, like you, I've been running the 0.6.0 librespot module for hours now without issue.

Thanks @Tim Curtis -  I have installed in five systems and will test it out
