I'll put in a plug for the ever excellent Radio Paradise, which is already in there, but Bill is just starting a full FLAC stream, only on the phone apps for now. Coming is a player for the desktop site "and other players soon"... I think it would be great to have Moode be one of those "other players", especially "sooner". Not sure if its a matter of a link (currently unpublished) or it would be a bit more detailed than that. Since it probably depends on who contacts him for the details of what it would take, Moode might be one of the first, and gain some publicity thereby. And, a bunch of discriminating audiophiles looking for quality content at ultra quality delivery would probably include some eventual volunteer supporters to help him out as well...

Bill got back to me, and I've been reading some posts on his end. It's not just a simple stream. Upsides, it's not supposed to be very complicated. There would be metadata available, even pictures/album titles. A separate guy has created a Volumio plug in, so perhaps a lot of the work is done already: https://volumio.org/forum/radio-paradise-t9886.html https://github.com/marco79cgn/volumio-pl...o_paradise Hopefully this is enough to give you guys an idea. Seems that there would need to be some structure needed on the Moode side besides this stuff. I believe there was a plugin that worked with some Squeezebox or Logitech player as well. Does sound like it has the potential to have better features than most streams. Bill also mentions an upcoming API that will be generally released in the coming months, and sounds like he's willing to work with player suppliers in the mean time. I have both playing here. I've sent my analysis of the API back to Tim. It's more like a music service API than a simple stream API and won't simply plug into moOde's existing radio mechanism. Through it one can select among the songs in the current playlist (typically 1-6 songs in length), step to previous and next, etc. The moOde UI has to be thought out and code has to be written. I didn't think that investment of effort was prudent given that the API is currently private. If it's published and guaranteed to be supported then maybe someone will decide differently. I wasn't aware of marco79cgn's melding of his code into a Volumio plugin. I'll have to have a look. Meanwhile, I'm able to play Radio Paradise FLAC through moOde using
Candidly, I can't claim to hear a difference between this and directly playing the Radio Paradise 320k AAC stream on moOde but my ears are old and so is my equipment. Regards, Kent

'At Radio' by AnalogueTrash in Manchester is another ad free radio, broadcasting at 320k, that's worthy of inclusion:
