Hi everyone,
I’m Nikolovich, and I’m a newbie in the world of Hi-Fi, but I’ve been diving deeper and getting more passionate about it every day. Recently, I discovered that it’s possible to run DACs on Raspberry Pi boards, which opened up a whole new realm of possibilities for me.
I started out with Volumio, but after some trial and error, I stumbled upon Moode Audio. I must say, I’m really impressed with the results so far—it’s a huge step up for me!
As for my current setup, I’m running a pair of Chario Constellation Delphinus speakers, driven by a modified Fosi Audio V3 amplifier. For now, I’m using a Raspberry Pi Zero paired with a HiFiBerry DAC, but I’m planning to upgrade to a Raspberry Pi 5 in the near future. I’m also quite intrigued by the idea of building my own DAC based on the AK4499 chip, which I hope will take my system to the next level.
I’m here to learn more, share experiences, and get advice from the experts in this community. Looking forward to connecting with you all!
Cheers,
Nikolovich
