[SOLVED] New Output Method from Pi to DAC? Or?

Hello.

My present setup is a RPi4-8GB w/USB3 2TB external drive pushes FLAC via USB to my Topping D50s which does analog out to my stereo receiver.

I recently purchased a RPi5-8GB w/NVME hat and a 2TB NVME 2280 drive.

My question is what would be the best to go from the RPi5 to my DAC? Can I still use USB as output even though the data is coming from a NVME drive? Or should I buy a HiFiBerry w/ optical out and transfer that way? I do have hi-res (24/192+) FLACs plus standard 16/44 FLACs.
