Monitor folders for changes?

Hello, is there anyway to monitor folders for changes? My library is starting to grow large, and scanning the entire thing takes forever. I'm also constantly adding new music, so I have to do a full rescan a few times a week. Is there any way to monitor folders for changes, similar to how Plex handles it?

Sorry but... aren't you aware of "Update library"? Or you were already referring to that...?

In Folder View click on the folder and select 'Update this Folder'
Just updates the selected folder without a full Library scan.

Yes, the update library is what I'm referring to as a full scan. I wait until the wheel stops spinning to consider it "done" and it takes quite a while.
