I confirm, the check update responds with Check for update failed

I’m in the same boat as OP.
When I check for updates, my moode 9.2.4 says 9.2.5 is available. Then I start the update and (after all steps) success is reported.
After the reboot it looks like the changes were not committed and I’m still on 9.2.4.

I marked it as solved because the upstream issue causing fails was fixed by me and users that previously reported issues were able to successfully update their systems.

If you are still having an issue please post a new thread.

FYI most problem threads are never marked solved by their OP after the issue has been fixed and so I've been doing it as part of "Housekeeping", also closing stale threads when it comes to my attention.

My system still won't update, or rather the update seems to work fine but after a reboot I'm still stuck on 9.1.5.
Not really sure if there's a point in opening another thread, unless you think there are troubleshooting steps that I might be missing.
