Hi, I have some problems after updating:
couldnt regenrate the library, so I deleted everything in order to scan it again.
Now, moode lists every files and folder (whether its music or not), even hidden ones - can someone please explain
and tell me how to fix this?

Reboot and then post the entire contents of the startup log.

The log can be viewed via the SSH command moodeutl -l or downloaded via the Logs section in System Config, or via Menu, System info from  any of the Config screens. The startup log will be at the end of System info output.

I would recommend you re-install from scratch; your issue is weird, and the "so I deleted everything" is a bit ambiguous...

What I meant, logically and obviously, was the database
Sure. Thats what I deleted. No worries, I'm not someone who tries weird things just hoping that it will bring the fix
Plus, Im quite familiar with computer hw and sw.

I am now scanning the sources again. Started with USB - also in this location, every folder is shown.
Even those without mnusic files. Any idea?

EDIT: it seems that it shows folders with music, so that seems to be working normal.
Will take a look at the NAS source as soon as it has been scanned

THe strange thing is, though, that it keeps scanning, but the server HDDs aer not busy anymore.. also the network-LED
is still  rapidly blinking... and it
also shows non-muisic folders. is this normal during scan?

Hm, OK, it seems to be capable of opening zip files, but how do I filter those?
bin, sub, sln.. are also part of the crew

To troubleshoot try examining the MPD log for any errors, and to determine if possible the last file that MPD successfully processed. It might provide a clue to why the db update never completes.
