Soundcraft ui24r - no sound w/7.0.1
#1
Not sure is somebody reported this already, but I after updating from some 6.* to 7.0.1 I cannot use USB playback connected to Soundcraft ui24r console anymore. The device is available in MPD Output listbox, but if I select it and try to play anything I'm getting "openMpdSock() failed" error. If I switch output to Pi Headphone jack everything plays fine.

[EDIT] just realized that I posted this in the wrong thread....

Reboot and post the Moode startup log.

Code:
moodeutl -l

I found that if I turn on SoX resampling and set bit depth to 16, it works. Did not have to do it before. I also think I now have periodic clicks, but need to investigate more.

I'll do the command tomorrow.

Also post the output of the command below while playback is stopped.

Code:
alsacap

Did more experiments. It's definitely resampling, I now need to enable SoX and set 16 bits to play 24-bit files. Strange, I don't think I ever had to do this with previous versions.

As I can see in the alsacap for Ui24 Sample formats are S16_LE, S32_LE.

But if I set SoX to 32-bit, it still doesn't work. Only 16-bit works.

Attached a ZIP with all logs.

I definitely hear clicks/crackle now when playing anything from Pi, just not sure where it's coming from yet.
