Radio station problem

Having just built a couple of test rigs, I tried to play RadioActive (my local indie station), but ended up with something completely different. This was from a freshly-configured build, only expanded the file system, defined the type of DAC and rebooted

(What a crappy bug report, amirite? I will go and get the specifics and add to the post).

The old RadioActive playable URL didn't work when I tested it and so the station is marked offline in upcoming 7.1.0 but I'll try the one your posted for post 7.1.0 update.

They do seem to be in the habit of changing their streaming URL periodically for some reason.

They're a 'collective', rather than a commercial station, so run by volunteers.

A friend of mine is a founder - I'll have a word about a way of keeping it standardised.

I posted a few new URLs recently http://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.p...3#pid31713 including RadioActive FM 88.6 in Welly. 

Recently I discovered that it's easy to pick URLs out of Streema.com entries. 

On two consecutive days I got two distinctly different URLs. The first one worked, then it didn't work but the second did, and today the first one does and the second one doesn't. Anything your friend can do to stabilize this situation would be a great help.

ETA - Wouldn't you know, these are the two URLs in the .m3u file you posted but I didn't notice until now.

I have a problem with the stations, they stop playing when I press the "next" or "previous" button
an error appears and all added stations disappear from the playlist and only mp3 remains

Looking at the screen capture you posted, I see three stations at the end of the playlist.

"MPD Error: openMpdSock() Failed" is definitely a problem but I don't see enough in the log to diagnose it.

In any case, I have been unable to repro your problem.

You're running mostly default settings and the 32bit kernel, which is good. I see two settings which are not default: HTTP Server is enabled and CamillaDSP is enabled. I'd turn off both these options and reboot just to be sure they aren't confounding the situation. 

Once you've rebooted, try playing a track or a radio station and see if you get the MPD error again. If you do, then without rebooting or otherwise disturbing the system configuration or logs, again run "moodeutl -l" and post the results.

As an unrelated aside, I note that moodutl printed out an error message for the SSID

Since your WiFi connection has been assigned proper IP, gateway, and DNS addresses I believe the SSID is correct but moodeutl can't print it for some reason. Perhaps @Tim Curtis and you should communicate by PM to sort this.
