Rpi 4B, Mausberry 4A car supply switch
#1
Hi there,

I'm having an issue with my Rpi 4B with Mausberry 4a car supply.

To activate the switch I have to add some script to the Pi.
https://www.mausberrycircuits.com/pages/setup
But when I tried I got this message.
This is my first Rpi project so I could be doing something wrong.
Last week I contacted Mausberry and got a quick reply asking what message the Pi give after entering the first line of the script. I send this picture below and he tested the script himself and they said it worked. After that no more reaction.

Maybe you guys n girls know what is going (or I'm doing) wrong.
Would live to hear from you. Thx Menno

@Ride154

Here's what it says in the setup instructions you linked to

Quote:Installing the script

For RaspBMC/Raspbian/Debian distributions (Xbian as well, omit the word sudo), type the following and hit enter after each line:

1. sudo wget http://files.mausberrycircuits.com/setup.sh

2. sudo bash setup.sh

3. sudo reboot

Try again using the URL in step 1.

Regards,
Kent

O crap, now I'm locked out of the Pi.
The moode wifi network doesn't appear so I can't approach it via Iphone
And even wired via Firefox no luck getting in there.

How does one trouble shoot this without a hdmi mini cable at hand?
(i have that cable at home and not on me right now)

ssh over wired ethernet may be your best option

So I’m one step further than yesterday but after the first line and hittin’ enter I get this message.
After hitting enter after bash carsetup.sh computer says no

What does bash do?
And is there another way?
