Hi Tim

Thanks for your explanation last time.

the DAC device, which doesn't support LINUX USB AUDIO, equipped with USB Receiver IC VT1630A and DDC AKM4113

I am trying to get a new device with USB Receiver IC SA9123 and MS8412.

Can it support LINUX SUB AUDIO?

Thanks & Regards,

It would be the Manufacturer or the Reseller of that particular USB DAC who is usually supposed to supply the answer to such a question.

Thanks for attention and reply.

Yes I did ask the reseller, who answered it can be reconigzed by windows/mac/linux

Actually, my last case was device can be reconigzed by LINUX, but doesn't support LINUX USB AUDIO as explanation from TIM.

It is kind of out of question to post here, let me google more if any answer.

Thanks anyway.

It was not neccessarily an 'out of question' enquiry on this forum with the view that maybe another MoOde user may have used the particular USB DAC you have or the one you're aiming to purchase... but consider that those DACs may be 'copies' of mainstream DACs lacking firmware updates and/or specific circuitry.

Try to make enquiries on 'diyAudio' forum, specifically in the 'Source & Line' area (the 'Digital Line' and 'PC Based' sub-forums):
https://www.diyaudio.com/
https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/source-and-line/

...you may need to provide more info about the USB DACs you are looking at (the 'market' name/brand, reseller, etc.)
