You add Tidal Connect and native support for other streaming platforms.

UPnP is not at all the same thing. If you think it's even close, you have never used Tidal Connect.

So go over to the Tidal support services, where they have people paid from the money you give them every month, and complain to them that they refuse to create an open source implementation of Tidal Connect that a project like this can use.

The fault here is not with the donation funded, volunteer supported and generally excellent moOde, but with the expensive, professionally staffed streaming service that takes all your cash and adds so little value.

As @the_bertrum mentioned there is no Open Source implementation of Tidal Connect either from Tidal itself or as a reverse engineering project like shairport-sync or librespot which means that it's a no-go for our project.

There does however appear to be a dump on GitHub of Tidal Connect software from a particular manufacturers device but I imagine this is not legal especially since there are no sources in the repo corresponding to the binaries and the original uploader repo is suspiciously "404 not found". Another no-go for our project.

As far as natively integrating any particular Music Service goes, this requires paying minimum and ongoing fees for the use of one or more vendor integration API's. This is a no-go for our project since moOde is based on the idea of Free Software.

Your best bet is to use one of the good commercial (paid) audio softwares for example Roon or Bluesound that includes integrated Music Services.
Enjoy the Music!
