[PROBLEM] Open MPDSOCK Failed

Hi Tim and Crew,

Since updating to 8.3.2 it's been kind of a hot mess.

Latest tonight on the sender unit I'm receiving open mpd sock failed.

ALSO-- yes it was streaming radio previously, yes it was working with spotify, then the error. Also please note I can not disable the sender daemon.  

All the error logs posted below.

Looks to me that MPD is (was) set to use the HDMI port as output, but it is disabled.

Couple of observations:

1. The log shows an old version of RaspiOS. The 832 images are at 11.6

It looks like this system may have had another audio device configured prior to reconfiguring it as a Multiroom Sender?
Your best bet is to start with a fresh image. I have a small multiroom setup plus two other systems and I always go with fresh images plus settings restore. It's takes less than half hour for all five systems. That way if there are any issues I know it's not due to something that resulted from accumulated in-place updates.
