Connecting Bluetooth to android tablet.
#1
I'm struggling to do the above from the moode controller. I can scan and see the android device, and the android device offers to pair. I get a dialog saying it can't connect with a pin, and then the pi becomes unresponsive requiring a reboot. Is there any documentation or advice on the correct procedure?

Is it your intention to stream audio via Bluetooth from your Android tablet to your moOde player?

If so, go to the m>Configure>Renderers panel in your moOde player's webUI

  1. ensure your moOde Bluetooth controller is on
  2. ensure your moOde Bluetooth Pairing agent is on
Now your Android tablet should be able to detect your moOde player's Bluetooth renderer when you tell it to pair a new device. Select it in the pairing menu on your tablet and you should be able to complete the connection process---no PIN required. (I just confirmed this with my Google Pixel 6a phone running Android version 13 and a moOde 8.3.3 player installed on an RPi4B.)

Kent
