Play Computer Audio Through Moode
#1
I've got moode set up with a DAC hat and headphone amp.

I'd like to play the audio output of my windows computer through moode. What's the best way to facilitate this?

I've tried UPnP but can't add it as an audio device. I tried stream what you hear but that didn't work, when I select moode upnp as the stream to device it just starts playing whatever is in the queue.

Turns out changing my windows Bluetooth devices to discovery to "Advanced" Moode shows up and then I can connect. Once connected audio wouldn't windows wouldn't allow Moode to be set as an audio device. So I tried turning it off and on again and it worked.

Bluetooth is probably your best bet and it would appear you've got that working already.

I have used airplay using a program called airfoil, free to use with a raspberry pi.

have a look at gmrender-resurrect

https://github.com/hzeller/gmrender-resu...patibility

Tested on Ubuntu using MoOde as the endpoint. (was some time ago and I can't recall the control point but will think on it some. It took a little setting up but the Ubuntu control point gui worked well and MoOde was found in the list.)
