Hello from Mexico

Hi. I built my first streamer about a year ago with a RPi 4, a HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro, and a 5.5 inch 1920x1080 AMOLED touchscreen. I have to admit that at that time I tried both MoOde and Volumio, and ended up choosing Volumio. The ease of setup and the very cool PeppyMeter VU screensaver won me over. Eventually I got frustrated with the music playback stuttering in Volumio. I tried many upgrades and all kind of buffer settings, but the problem never went away, so I decided it was time to try MoOde again. I got MoOde installed and configured and the music plays beautifully. I even got the 5.5 inch touchscreen working, but unfortunately PeppyMeter on MoOde is not as polished as PeppyMeter on Volumio. It does not support my screen resolution. I can live without PeppyMeter and the touchscreen, but hope that one day I can use PeppyMeter on MoOde.

Hi, velcome onboard.
Don't worry too much, here you'll find out how to get peppymeter working; I've seen a few posts regarding it. I was tempted to try it myself, but laziness won...
