Would like to request if possible that you could have a password or pincode, maybe even a qr code if possible to pair bluetooth devices to Moode. If I have BlueZ activated all time I guess anyone can pair without my permission? Would still like it to be quite straightforward without needing to access the Moode interface if possible.
If it's that this already exists, I would be happy to know how to activate it.
Thanks

Given Bluetooth's range limitations of around 30 ft under ideal conditions, whats the usage scenario where pin code access is needed?

Those are legit usage scenarios but prolly not too common for moOde users.
In any case I'll add to the TODO list to investigate but it will require a dev with more Bluetooth expertise than I have to figure out whats needed to enable/disable PIN code authentication.

+1 on this request. We use moode in a training facility and would like to limit the connections to the once knowing the code.
Thanks for all your great work!

Thats good info. Maybe a dev will become interested in contributing the modifications.
