[SOLVED] Internetradio not showing artist and title

Hello world!

i have a "minor" issue, i crawl through the internet to find high-res radio streams, and i have found this one..
https://www.radio-calico.com/

It plays fine with the 24Bit Flac stream mentioned in the link.
But there is no artist or titleinfo..
Is this info just not part of the stream?
Or is it my fault?

The broadcaster is not adding metadata to the stream.

VLC shows there is rather complete track metadata in the stream---title, artist, album, genre, etc. I haven't looked to see how it's encoded.

Of the last two tracks I just listened to, moOde seems to display just the title so it's seeing something. Having forgotten how moOde deals with metadata in radio streams and having not done the above forensics I don't know what else might be possible.

Thank you! The metadata is working with the link from Francesco!
Can somebody post a link or explain why metadata in flac-streams is a problem?
Or is it just trial and error with all streamsources for a radiostream?

When talking about radiostreams..
I have read that AAC Streams are better than MP3-Streams when they use the same bitrate.
Can you agree to that?

I am glad that you are happy about the link.
Unfortunatly only some flac stream are correctly running with metadata, the other often stop the play at each of the metadata receive. A bypass has been developed by TIM in the last version: I had no test it yet.
AAC Streams seem to have better quality than MP3 Streams at the same bitrate.
