Just installed the current version 8.8. 3 of moOde on my ancient Pi 1B  and to my surprise it runs really quite well given the age of the Pi

Just worked out how to link Spotify with my Windows 11 PC and it seems to work  Ok  a bit jittery at times
and even found the directory of URL's to add essential stations  BBC Cymru etc

My old moOde version was approx 4  and I remember it was a bit of a meal to install

Next task is to get a 64bit version of moOde  running on my Pi 4

Welcome to the Forum, Eddie.

I assume you have the revised Pi 1B model which came with 512MB of RAM rather that the original version with its 256MB. IIRC moOde won't run on the original.

Note also that beginning with moOde 9.0.0, Tim intends to release only 64-bit versions, which won't run on either the Pi 1B or the Pi Zero (W). Glad to hear you're already at work on a Pi 4B.

I always wanted to see Bath. Sadly, I had to pass up a chance to attend a research meeting hosted in Bath some decades ago and haven't made it back to the UK since (I don't count layovers at Heathrow as  "making it back").

Regards,
Kent
