Problem: Upgrading from 9.0.1
#1
I have an Allo Boss2 that I upgraded to 9.0.01 (on 5/30). Everything works fine except the upgrade in-place function...which comes back with a "Check for updated failed" message (log file has, "Invalid remote release date" message). Looking back through some of the forum posts, it looks like I may have pulled a version before the auto-update function was fully functional. My question is, "what's the best way forward?". Do I need to do a backup, full new install, and then restore? or is there a way to fix/patch my current 9.0.1 install to enable the auto update in-place feature?

Your best bet is to do a fresh 9.0.4 install.

Was able to quickly get everything reloaded under 9.0.4 and its able to see that the version is up-to-date. Looks like everything is working under the new release after a quick test.

FYI - your setup guide link in the top post: https://moodeaudio.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=960
looks like its broken. It was easy enough to find the new guide but thought I would point that out.
