Solved: No thumbnails (yet)
#1
Hello there,

A picture says more then wordsSmile...no thumbnails. I only use the upnp renderer (no local files) for Qobuz with various control point,...mostly Linn Kazoo.
Have looked a lot on the forum and the net but couldn't find a similar setup or problem untill now.
Maybe an easy fix, maybe it's not possible or the problem is with Qobuz.....dunnoSmile

Tips appreciated......

thx in advance

willem

I don't think they are supposed to be there; I'll be glad to be wrong, of course.

Yup, for UPnP you get the album art, but moOde doesn't have a thumbnail it can show (for MPD sources, a thumbnail file is created when the library is scanned, we can't do that for UPnP).

Well,...they ARE there when using local music files. The question is whether or not this has to do with the fact I'm using a streaming service as Qobuz using the UPNP renderer option in moOde.

Yes, it's because you are using UPnP.  No thumbnail files are in the information sent over UPnP so there's nothing that can be shown.

I thought it was obvious I wasn't talking about local files, but about UPnP.
