how to solve "failed to decode/failed to open" error?

i'm receiveing the error: "Failed to decode /var/lib/mpd/music/.... *.wmv; Failed to open /var/lib/mpd/music/... *.wmv: No such file or directory"
there used to be a music video in the folder
i have now deleted the video, because i don't need it anyway, but the error persists

how may i be able to resolve it?

Maybe there is a hidden file duplicate. Try ls -al

Once you delete it from your physical device you need to perform a library update/rescan...
