Greetings.
I used to stream from my Windows laptop from iTunes to Airplay, and Moode played the music.
Then the Airplay library was updated so you can only compile it for either Airplay 1 or Airplay 2 but not both.
@Tim Curtis uses the Airplay 2 library, which is fine, except iTunes under Windows does not support Airplay 2.
I recently discovered swyh-s (Stream what you hear) - a programme that takes the output of your soundcard and streams it to UPUPnP/DLNAnP/DLNA
https://github.com/StreamWhatYouHear/SWYH
https://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/
This programme works well with Moode, but the output of my laptop's soundcard is only so-so quality wise.
That is where VB-Audio Virtual Cable comes in. It sets up an additional virtual soundcard that delivers audio of the highest quality.

I am very happy with this setup.
The quality is excellent.
I hope this information is of use to other Moode lovers and thank you @timcurtis

Notes.
- Changing the audio source from and to VB-Audio Virtual Cable requires you to restart your audio source, here iTunes.
- VB-Audio Virtual Cable adds some delay.
- While you can stream to multiple UPUPnP receivers, they won't stay in synch.
