Solved: Updated to 9.2.4 - CamillaDSP problems
#1
Having updated, I have no audio output. I get:
"Alert. Failed to open audio output".
In the CamillaDSP Pipeline Editor I see:
"Config has errors"
on the main page and a warning triangle on the Pipeline tab. Clicking on that I see:
"Additional properties are not allowed ('channel' was unexpected)"
Backup attached.  I'm using the Camilla config:
HD660S-Oratory1990-Tweaked.yml

Format of camilladsp 3.0 changed slightly.
In the moode camilladsp config page, there is a config upgrade button.

Thanks - I'd never have noticed that option!

If the upgrade isn't going to also address the config file format change perhaps additionally putting that text on the same page as the error message would be an idea.

Thats just a generic message for any kind of error in a config file.

In any case, the release announcements contain important information including notes related to major component updates, post release patches that may be deployed and that friendly reminder to help out the project :-)

Twice I've considered making changes to the code but I just don't understand web/front end dev at all. I did a diff of the yml file pre/post change and could probably write a convertor but not in any language you'd be interested in!

Pretty sure my users don't read release notes either!

Right!
Anyway, I just "helped out the project" - thanks for all your good work.

Ouch!!!
Me too... 1Hour to find this issue because... I've not read the doc.
But there is a big change for Camilla, a warning message will be welcome.

Thanks in advance for your job.
