[SOLVED] Updating the library

Hi

After having uploaded new music to the attached USB drive, I'm slightly confused about the various functions for updating the library.

Via the GUI:

Menu > Update library
Menu > Configure > Library > Regenerate Music database

What's the difference between these two?

And in the command line:

mpc update
mpc rescan

How do these two differ from the above commands?

Finally, a small thing in the documentation. In setup_guide.md, for libupd-submit.php it says:
"This command performs the equivalent of Menu > Library update."
I think it should be:
"This command performs the equivalent of Menu > Update library."

Update library: scans for new/removed entries, and builds new thumbnails == mpc update
Regenerate music database: clears, and rebuil;ds everything from scratch == mpc rescan
