Solved: no music files visible
#1
Hi ,

Hope i can ask another question:

Moode does not show my music files wich are on an external disk.

I don´t know why i can not reach them inside moode. Could this because of permissions of these files ?
Any other ideas ?

Thank you.

1) What's the format of your music files.
2) What is an "external disk"? NAS, USB drive, ... ?
3) Have you (re)generated the music library?

Hi !
1. The format of the music files is flac.
2. It is a usb nvme external ssd : 2tb Kingston XS1000.
3. Yes I generated the music library, but did not see some sort of notification something happened.
I did waited quite some time.

Did you apply the post-release MPD patch mentioned in the release announcement?

No I did not apply this patch.

I have updated to 9.3.0. Do i need the patch also ?

Could it be that my music is stored in the wrong file ?
Now it is located in /media/muziek etc

I did a fresh new install . After that i applied the post release mpd patch.
The menu left on top of the screen and my Nvme disk with my music collection are now visible . Now everything works and wow !

Thanks Tim Curtis.
