I am now back working, the weirdness has stopped. i did try the TP-LINK AV1000 so I am now back to using the comfast yet the location is on a different AC circuit. Whatever happened is a mystery. I did hear and see some latency so i undid the smart connect on the TP Link Router and kept the same name for the 5G, all good. I am returning the TP-LINK AV1000.
