[PROBLEM] 9.2.1 Intro pop up keeps appearing

For me it stopped appearing after clicking on the coupon in the radio section.
(On an updated 9.2.1, not a fresh install.)

It's an inbuilt whack-a-mole game :-p

Its less intrusive in upcoming r922 release and still way less click throughs than with a Smartphone or Desktop OS update so think of it as a bonus.

I don’t know if it can help to find the reason. For the same moodeaudio device:
- on macos, on safari, no welcoming popup after first time
- on ios, install as a web app from safari (i.e. a icon on home screen with direct access to the device url), popup keeps pop and very hard to close on phone screen

My guess is that the webapp is in a safari jail that doesn’t keep any cookies from one time to an other.

(it is solved by $ moodeutl -q "update cfg_system set value='n,n' where param='first_use_help'")

The only repro thats been successful for me is the Welcome screen being clipped in certain landscape modes.

I'm flummoxed too. No experiment has repro'ed the problem.

Although running the moOde webUi as a web app hadn't been mentioned before, I just tried that with Safari on an iPad (e.g., iPadOS) and, again, the flags cleared as expected.

Well to be precise the former test was on iphone not ipad.

But more interestingly, I have an ipad so i have done the test too (same ios version):
- problem on iphone (wether landscape or portrait on mobile setup)
- no problem on ipad (mobile or desktop setup)
So it may be a screen adaptation problem.

Right, it's clipped on mobile and the closer is not visible. If you open the WebUI via tablet or desktop and click the 2 help coupons then refresh the WebUI on mobile the Welcome notification will be cleared.

All fixed for next release.

THX Tim - On 9.2.2 the clipped message is now centered on the local display (PI 1 TouchDisplay), and the "dismiss" button also works fine.
