So, as noted before, I've got a RPi-4 with an Allo DigiOne as the "hat".  I've had no problem with Moode 7 and 8, but the upgrade to 9.1.4 is not allowing me to connect to Spotify.  Here is the moode.log with the Spotify Connect renderer disabled.  After that I enabled the Spotify renderer and captured the moode_librespot.log (2nd code block), and then attempted connect to Moode Spotify.

After all these timeouts, I thought I should check to see whether I can ping from the pi to Spotify.  I can (I think), but the results are kinda different from when I try the same command on my Mac.

Again, ver 8 works (I can post the librespot.log if that would be of interest), but ver 9 doesn't.  The ping test on ver 8 is essentially the same as on ver 9.

I'm still stumped.  :-/

Where did that come from? I'm not saying it's wrong but the address lies in a block of IP addresses owned by a company in Hong Kong with a netname "POWERLINE-HK". The addresses you're getting for the Spotify access points are totally bogus.

Yeah, I ran whois on that address and was also very puzzled (as in WTF?) about where that came from. It's listed as one of the DNS servers on my desktop (Mac mini). I don't know how it got there. My router (Synology) has the DNS of my local ISP (Sonic), so I'm not sure why my router (DHCP) would be giving out a DNS from Powerline-HK.

BOOM! That fixed it! !!!!!!

I switched the network settings on the Pi to static, used the DNS of my ISP, and it connects to Spotify! Woohoo!

Odd thing, though: the DNS in the ver 8 (always worked) was the same as in my ver 9 installation. To remain a mystery, I guess, since (new) music was the goal and is accessible again.

And the DHCP Server in my router was apparently the source of the "offending" DNS. I fixed that too; just don't know how it got there.
